Grain Silo Moisture & Spoilage Hotspot Imaging
Finds the wet pocket in stored grain before it molds or burns.
Plausible physics, early work — shown honestly as an experiment.
How it works
Dry grain barely touches the signal; wet grain drags on it heavily. A damp pocket forming inside the bin slows and weakens exactly the paths that cross it, so the mesh can point at where the trouble is. That is weeks of warning before mold, toxins, or a silo fire.
In the physics: Grain permittivity rises steeply with moisture (dry grain eps_r ~3-4, wet/spoiling pockets trend toward water's eps_r ~80), and settling/caking changes bulk density. These alter both path delay and reflected amplitude through the bin — a physically visible dielectric contrast, not an inference.

How the field becomes an answer
How we prove it
Own-hardware: ESP32 nodes ringing a test bin filled with grain at controlled moisture gradients, ground-truthed with insertable moisture probes and thermocouples; ESP32-wall dataset to calibrate through-medium CIR delay recovery.
Who it is for
'SiloSight' — insurance-grade spoilage & silo-fire early warning for grain elevators and co-ops; sees inside the pile where thermocouple cables can't.
