Agitation Thermometer for Memory Care Wings
A live calm-to-agitated gauge for each room, so staff can step in early.
The physics is solid; our own validation is scheduled.
How it works
Agitated movement is faster, more energetic, and more repetitive than ordinary walking — pacing the same loop again and again. All of that shows in how strongly and how regularly the WiFi field is stirred. The system turns it into one simple intensity number per room.
In the physics: Agitated motor behavior raises total Doppler spectral energy, shifts the bulk-Doppler distribution toward higher velocities, and produces low-entropy repetitive RTI trajectories (fixed pacing loops) versus high-entropy normal ambulation. These are magnitude/shape changes in already-proven observables, aggregated rather than classified — robust to per-person variation.

How the field becomes an answer
How we prove it
OPERAnet activity-intensity labels for the energy-to-activity mapping; own memory-care pilot correlating index against CMAI (Cohen-Mansfield Agitation Inventory) scores charted by staff over 8 weeks.
Who it is for
For memory-care medical directors and pharmacists: 'An objective agitation vital sign — see the medication working (or not) in the data within 48 hours, instead of waiting for the next incident report.'
