Silent Bathroom Event Guardian

If someone falls in the bathroom, help gets called — no camera needed.

Proven Proven live in runtime

Demonstrated on real public research data.

A fall is a fast movement followed by stillness, and both change how WiFi waves bounce around the home. The waves pass through the bathroom wall, so nothing has to be installed in the room itself. If someone goes in, goes still, and does not come out, the system raises the alarm.

In the physics: A fall produces a high-magnitude broadband Doppler transient (rapid limb/torso velocity >2 m/s) followed by near-zero motion energy except the 0.1-0.5Hz breathing band. Through-wall sensing works because 2.4/5GHz penetrates drywall (proven AUC 0.69 LOS/NLOS discrimination, fall AUC 0.8); RTI places the still body inside the bathroom compartment even with no sensor in the room.

How the field becomes an answer

Doppler transient detector (fall template) RTI differential imaging to confirm location = bathroom breathing-band Doppler check for 'alive but down' MVE anomaly score on dwell-time-without-motion vs. resident's own bathroom-visit baseline.

How we prove it

Fall detection already class-A on public data; EHUNAM and ESP32-wall for through-wall configuration; own-hardware validation with staged falls (mannequin + actor protocol) behind a real bathroom wall.

Who it is for

For home-care agencies and adult children (private-pay): 'The bathroom is where they fall and where cameras can never go — we watch it through the wall, seeing physics, not pixels.'
