A person pausing at the sink or gel dispenser leaves a small, recognisable trace in the room's WiFi pattern — a stop in just that spot, for just long enough. The system counts room entries and counts real hygiene stops, with no badges and no one watching over shoulders.

In the physics: A person entering the room and pausing at the sink/dispenser wall creates a distinct RTI occupancy trace in the doorway->sink cells with a characteristic dwell time; the arm-reach gesture to a dispenser produces a short micro-Doppler signature localized to that zone.
