CrowdBarometer — bar density, capacity and agitation index

Feels when a bar crowd shifts from happy to about-to-fight.

Frontier Frontier live in runtime

Plausible physics, early work — shown honestly as an experiment.

The headcount comes from how much the room stirs the signal — that part is already well proven. Mood lives in the rhythm: relaxed people sway and gesture slowly, while shoving pushes fast, sharp motion into many links at once. When the whole room's rhythm speeds up together, the agitation index rises.

In the physics: Occupancy scales multipath variance (count r=0.9 proven). Crowd mood shifts the aggregate Doppler spectrum: relaxed socializing concentrates energy below ~2Hz (sway, gestures), while shoving/fight precursors push a measurable fraction of energy into 4-15Hz fast-limb bands and raise spectral entropy across many links simultaneously.

How the field becomes an answer

Occupancy regressor per zone aggregate micro-Doppler spectral-shape features (band ratios, entropy) adaptive PCA + MVE manifold with rolling per-night baseline so 'busy Saturday normal' doesn't alarm, but coordinated fast-motion deviation does.

How we prove it

WiMANS multi-person for density; own staged-scenario nights in a partner bar (choreographed shove/rush drills vs normal service) scoring alarm lead time vs incident logs.

Who it is for

Door-count compliance plus a 90-seconds-early heads-up for security — sold to the venue operator and their liability insurer, no cameras over the dance floor.
