A fall makes a sudden sharp ripple in the signal, then stillness. Breathing makes a slow steady rhythm the signal can feel, even through a bathroom door and in the dark. If there is no movement and no breathing where a guest should be, staff get a call — and no image was ever taken.

In the physics: A fall is a high-acceleration whole-body Doppler transient followed by absence of gait signature; breathing is a 0.1-0.5Hz chest-displacement modulation of CSI phase; both persist in darkness and through bathroom doors.
