A fall makes a sudden sharp ripple in the signal, then everything goes still at floor level. Breathing gently moves the chest a few millimeters, and the signal notices that slow rhythm. So the same mesh that guards the doors can confirm someone is home, breathing, and okay.

In the physics: Falls produce a high-Doppler transient followed by sustained floor-level stillness; respiration modulates chest-wall reflections at 0.1-0.5 Hz and heartbeat proxy at 0.8-2 Hz — periodic path-length changes of millimeters that are resolvable in CSI phase. Fall AUC 0.8 and presence are already proven in LF2.
