How it works
A metal fence reflects WiFi in a steady, familiar pattern. Cut a section or open a gate and part of that pattern vanishes for good. A climber adds their own moving ripple on top, plus the ringing of the fence as it shakes under them.
In the physics: A chain-link or metal fence is a strong, spatially extended scatterer defining stable inter-node multipath; cutting a section or opening a gate removes/moves reflectors, permanently altering specific CIR taps (static geometry change), while a climber adds transient 1-5 Hz body Doppler plus fence-vibration micro-Doppler at 5-20 Hz as the structure rings.

Own-hardware 30 m fence rig: cut, climb, gate-open, wind-only, and animal-contact trials (50 each), report per-class detection and localization error; no public dataset covers fences.
