Smoke-Blind Rescue Mode

In a fire, it shows firefighters where people are — right through the smoke.

Strong theory Strong theory live in runtime

The physics is solid; our own validation is scheduled.

Smoke particles are thousands of times smaller than WiFi waves, so the signal passes through smoke as if it were not there. That means the sensing keeps working exactly when cameras and eyes fail. Firefighters get a live room-by-room map of where people are and whether they are moving or breathing.

In the physics: Smoke particles are orders of magnitude smaller than 6-12 cm WiFi wavelengths and cause negligible attenuation, so CSI sensing is physically unimpaired exactly when optical sensing fails; occupant localization (RTI), motion (Doppler), and respiration (0.1-0.5 Hz phase modulation) all remain observable through smoke-filled rooms and closed doors.

How the field becomes an answer

Alarm trigger RTI differential imaging localizes occupants per room (stage 4) Doppler classifies moving/still (stage 2) breathing-band extraction on still occupants (stage 2) compartment Kalman maintains a per-room occupant state vector (stage 6) exported as a floorplan overlay.

How we prove it

Presence, localization, and breathing layers individually proven or near-proven (OPERAnet breathing, RTI literature); integration test with theatrical smoke machine in an instrumented apartment: localization error and breathing detection rate at 3 smoke densities.

Who it is for

"The alarm that tells firefighters 'two people, back bedroom, one still breathing' — through the smoke." For alarm monitoring centrals and fire-department integration partners.
