How it works
The barn's structure reflects signal in a fixed pattern. If the roof sags under snow or a wall settles, the geometry literally moves, and the pattern drifts with it. Water soaking into timber or bedding changes the signal even more strongly — so rot and pathogen-friendly damp show up early.
In the physics: Structural movement changes fixed-multipath delays (the geometry literally shifts), and water intrusion into walls/roofing raises local eps_r toward ~80 while metal fatigue/loosening alters strong-scatterer returns — the same reflection-geometry drift already controlled over the proven 119-day run.
