Barn & Silo Structural / Moisture-Ingress Watch

Watches the barn itself — sagging roof, settling walls, creeping damp.

Strong theory Strong theory

The physics is solid; our own validation is scheduled.

The barn's structure reflects signal in a fixed pattern. If the roof sags under snow or a wall settles, the geometry literally moves, and the pattern drifts with it. Water soaking into timber or bedding changes the signal even more strongly — so rot and pathogen-friendly damp show up early.

In the physics: Structural movement changes fixed-multipath delays (the geometry literally shifts), and water intrusion into walls/roofing raises local eps_r toward ~80 while metal fatigue/loosening alters strong-scatterer returns — the same reflection-geometry drift already controlled over the proven 119-day run.

How the field becomes an answer

CIR sparse recovery of stable structural multipath track per-path delay/amplitude drift with compartment Kalman CUSUM over days/weeks for slow settling or snow-load sag RFF/NeRF eps_r map to localize a wet ingress patch

How we prove it

Directly extends the demonstrated 119-day drift-control result; own-hardware winter deployment vs laser roof-deflection measurement and moisture-meter wall probes.

Who it is for

'ShellWatch' — snow-load collapse and moisture-rot early warning for barn/silo owners and their insurers; one prevented roof failure justifies the fleet.
