FitOut Sentinel: Tenant Alteration & Concealed-Metal Watchdog

Notices when a tenant builds a wall, removes one, or hides something metal.

Strong theory Strong theory live in runtime

The physics is solid; our own validation is scheduled.

The walls and metal objects in a space set the fixed pattern of how WiFi waves bounce around it. A new partition adds echoes, a removed one deletes them, and hidden metal reflects strongly even behind finished surfaces. The system compares today's pattern with the approved baseline and flags what changed.

In the physics: Walls and metal objects define the static multipath skeleton: a new partition creates new reflection paths (new CIR taps at predictable delays), a removed one deletes taps, and metal is a near-perfect scatterer that dominates the sigma map in field reconstruction. These are step changes in geometry, orthogonal to human motion.

How the field becomes an answer

CIR sparse recovery baseline of tap constellation RFF/NeRF eps_r/sigma map delta vs move-in scan MVE anomaly on the static-geometry manifold (motion-gated to quiet hours) CUSUM confirms persistence before alerting.

How we prove it

ESP32-wall dataset for through-wall tap sensitivity; own-hardware: erect/remove a temporary stud+drywall partition and place a 1m metal cabinet in a test room, verify tap-level and NeRF-map detection and localization.

Who it is for

For the landlord / asset manager: 'Lease-compliance radar — know within a day when a tenant builds, demolishes, or hides something they didn't file a permit for.'
