How it works
A human intruder makes a big, obvious walking ripple, even through a stockroom wall. Rats are tiny, but at three in the morning the building is otherwise perfectly still — so their fast, darting movements stand out against the silence. Two very different alarms from one quiet mesh.
In the physics: Human intruders produce unmistakable gait Doppler and RTI track through walls (through-wall detection proven). Rodents are small-RCS movers, but at night the scene is otherwise static, so their fast erratic Doppler bursts (5-40Hz body dynamics, floor-level links) sit far above an empty-room noise floor — detectability rests on nighttime SNR, not target size.
