Confined-Space & Restricted-Zone Occupancy Ledger

Always knows how many people are inside a confined space — checked against the permit.

Strong theory Strong theory live in runtime

The physics is solid; our own validation is scheduled.

Every person inside the boundary stirs the WiFi field with movement and breathing, and more people means more stirring. The sensing nodes sit safely outside the hazardous space, reading through the wall. The live headcount is reconciled with the entry permit at all times.

In the physics: Each human body inside the space perturbs multipath with breathing (0.1-0.5Hz) and motion Doppler; occupancy count correlates with aggregate perturbation energy and mode count. Through-wall sensing (LOS/NLOS discrimination proven) lets nodes sit outside the hazardous boundary.

How the field becomes an answer

Doppler + breathing features (stage 2) occupancy count regression (proven r=0.9) RTI localization to confirm bodies are inside vs outside the boundary (stage 4) CUSUM on count-vs-permit mismatch duration (stage 6) to trigger alarms only on sustained discrepancy.

How we prove it

WiMANS multi-person counting and OPERAnet occupancy for the count model; ESP32-wall for the through-boundary configuration; own-hardware drill in a real vessel/electrical room during a planned entry.

Who it is for

A live 'souls inside' counter for every confined-space permit — sold to the permit-to-work coordinator as automated attendant backup.
