Pressurized Gas Leak Detection by Jet Vibration The hiss of a small leak is almost entirely ultrasonic — far above what WiFi sensing can feel — and the escaping plume itself barely touches radio waves at all. Ultrasonic survey tools do this job; WiFi honestly cannot. Smoke-Blind Fire Watch & Post-Hot-Work Sentinel Hot rising air changes radio waves so little that the effect is lost in the noise — WiFi simply cannot sense temperature. It is true that smoke does not block WiFi, but there is no thermal signal there to read in the first place.
